Brian Burke is competent, I wouldn't go as far as to say genius. Remember Canada still got 45 shots on net. If it wasn't for Ryan Miller, this could have been a completely different game. Drury and Rafalski both had great games at both ends of the ice, whether it was offense or defense. Overall though Canada dominated most of the game, Brodeur is still letting up some soft goals which was even starting before the Olympics. If the USA and Canada play again, I think they should give Luongo the start and just see how it goes.

There's so much here to address. First, you do sound like you've got anorexic tendencies. I'll leave it to a specialist to make the call, but you're obsessed about calories, food intake, exercise. Some of what you said sounds like me, but I try to stay a healthy weight without exercising so much that I injure myself. You need to regain some balance between your food and how much you're exercising to burn those calories. 1,800 per day isn't a lot for your size. Find the balance without injuring yourself. Eat healthy food and I suggest you work out a little less. Go slow and you'll find the right balance.

My 12 month old daughter doesn't crawl or walk. In fact, she doesn't roll over anymore either. She did when she was younger. She scoots everywhere on her bottom. She gets all around the house. She acts like she is afraid to try to walk alone. We encourage her by holding her hands and letting her walk and try to get her to take a couple steps to us unisted. She has had a lot of ear infections and is getting tubes put in this month. I was thinking maybe that has something to do with her balance. My other 2 kids were late walkers, 16 and 17 months, though they crawled by 11 months. She can say some words and know quite a few things from animal sounds to body parts. On a typical day what do you feed your 8 month old? Was reading on a baby newsletter that I get.. that I could be feeding my son more table food. But I still just give him stage 2 gerber food. So, I have been doing some exercises to help my shin splints (I am in cross country) and one of them is walking on my toes. There was always a strange popping sound in my ankle while I was walking on my toes. Lately, it started to hurt a little when doing that. The other day, I was doing the same thing as every other day, and suddenly during one of the pops, there was a whole lot of pain like crazy. Something was also wrong with my Achilles tendon, but that is okay now, but the pain where the popping was is even worse. It is hard to walk, and I am always limping. An ankle brace doesn't really help. Suggestions?

I have been on student council all 3 years of high school, am president of the TSA fashion design club at my school, and did track my freshman year. I also took fashion design/illustration cles at FIT 3 years totaling about 6+ cles so far (average B+ to A grades). I just called Cuna Mutual Group Life Insurance and asked about my husband group accidental death and accidental dismemberment insurance which is in Family Plan. My friend lived in Canada for over 30 years and was married with 2 children, 8 and 11. He got divorced there 6 years ago and now lives in Scotland with his new wife. She will not agree anything with him and advised it will have to go to court. He would rather not take this through the courts however she will not agree anything with him. I believe that you can. i know for a fact that at my high school if you go to the counselor and inform her that there is something on your schedule you did not sign up for that they will change it if they can to a cl you prefer more. I also know for a fact that if you start a cl and find out it's to difficult that they will change it to a different cl for you if there is a open spot in the cl. I've already notified her about our ceiling leaking, near the A/C. On the 31st it will have been 14 days since my written notification. Today I had a plumber crawl into my ceiling and check out the problem, and he said it is not the plumbing, its the A/C. Regardless, I have now left at least 10 messages on my Landlords message line, and she hasn't responded since 8/04 (when she left me a message advising me to have it fixed with her approval of the estimate obtained by a plumber) ...with no reponse to my messages, thats when I decided to notify her in writing of my repair request. Now that we know it is the A/C, I'm wondering if the time limit to fix this repair is shorter, and if she won't take action-or acknowledge the problem, is that a legal reason for my to end our lease agreement, since she is in breach?

How is he living without of any kind for so long? How is he satisfying himself? He does have ejaculation from time to time, not very often though. Coax and Optical cable not co-oping!?

It sounds to me as though the surround system is considering both the optical audio and digital co-ax inputs to be the same. This may just be a configuration issue. For instance, on my receiver I can ign arbitrary jacks to arbitrary input names...and for some reason the factory default was to lump all my digital audio inputs together. Pretty stupid if you ask me... The fix was to ign my co-ax input to one name, and the optical audio to another. This way, the signals wouldn't conflict with one another, even if both devices were on.

How do I get my mother to give me the freedom I deserve and treat me my age?

Hi. I am 21 and currently live with my mother. Now most of you saw the question and think "Well it's simple stupid...move out!" Well, I don't have the money yet to move out (yes I do have a job), I don't have a car (I have insurance but it's on my brother's car) so I can't just move with roommates cause you still have to pay rent and also, no ride to get to work or other places cause they have their own things to do or don't have cars either. So moving out is out of the question. Like I said, my mother doesn't treat me 21 and doesn't give me freedom. I am only allowed to go out maybe 2 or 3 weekends out of the month as long as it's with my older brother or younger sister and I am not allowed to go to clubs or anywhere further than a 10 mile radius of my home or stay out past 2am. I can't sleep over friend's places, can't go out with certain friends, can't go out with guys she doesn't approve of (which is like all the guys I have ever met cause she likes to look for the simplest flaw in them), etc. The best of it all is that...I AM IN THE ARMY! I have been in the national guard for 2 years. I think I can take care of myself! I don't do drugs, I am a social drinker, I am a good person in general. Yes, I argue with her about things we might disagree on, but I don't curse her out, I don't just walk out and do what I want when she tells me not to. And plenty of people tell me I am a better daughter than most girls/woman they have met. I have a seasonal job at Victoria's Secret, I start college in January and I plan on getting a cl "D" security license so that I can get a part time job as security while I study. I help her around the house with chores and cooking, help her take care of my 11 year old sister. I am always buying things for my mother and sister even when I don't have much money to spend, I don't go around opening my legs to every guy I know (in fact, I am not ashamed to say, I have been a whole year with out being intimate with any one). So what do I need to do?! I know she is controlling but this has to stop some how. My question is about feeding my 3 day old....?

My son is only 3 days old but we are having trouble feeding. What I have been doing is pumping milk, then attempt to feed and when we have done this for like 20 or 30 minutes and he gets really hungry I feed him the milk from his bottle. It seems like he is latching on really well but no matter what I do he will not stay awake on my . It seems like he is just kinda not catching on, he will get a pretty good hold on my nipple and then just sit there like hes waiting for my nipple to feed him. He has sucked a few times though he just won't continue to do it. He will suck like 3 times and then he will stop and fall asleep then get really frustrated because he is starving. I just don't know what to do, I really want this to work. I don't mind just pumping every three hours for his feedings but I am worried that my milk my just stop or something. Anyone have any good tips? Oh yeah and my milk just came in last night, before that when he wouldn't feed the nurses just had me give him formula.

Help?! What do I do about my ex?

I'm in love with my ex. Unfortunately, I realized it when it was too late and I had let the relationship go. Now, she likes one of my good friends. But, he doesn't like her. She sort of knows he doesn't but she hopes that he will start liking her as time goes by. She has told me a couple of times in the past few days that she loves me but, not in the romantic way. Why would you only have one copy of a card in Magic the Gathering?

In MTG, when building your deck, what is the logic of having only one or two copies of a card in your deck. Why not have 3 or 4. It seems to me that if the card is good enough to earn a spot in your deck, then you should ensure that you see that card during a match which would suggest 3-4 copies of it in your deck. I understand having only 1 if its a legend because of the legend rule. But why would you only have 2 copies of a card versus having 4 so you will maximize your chances of getting it. I seem to have this trouble when building my decks in that I always have 1 or 4 copies, never in between and the cards that I only have 1 copy of, are always legends.

Cluster headaches or sinus problems?

I have had migraines for years (since I was 12). About 10 years ago. I started getting these awful sinus infections with unbelievable sinus headaches. I have seen nuerologist, allergist, ENT (had sinus surgery-no help), trips to the ER-nada. I get these sinus infections 3-4 times a year and have taken more antibiotics than I can count. I wake up with headaches, they get worse at night-I avoid sleep sometimes. After 3-5 weeks it gets better for a while. Oh-the sinus infections were diagnosed by sinus pressure pain on the right side of the face under my eye, runny nose on that side, teary eyes, swollen eyes, sometimes I get a droopy eye too and often look flushed. So-about two weeks ago I watched House-and he diagnosed a kid with cluster headaches based on my symptoms for the recurring sinus infections! My hubby said "that sounds like you". Could it be that this is my problem? If it is clusters, can I get treatment that will help? I have started putting ambesol in my nose-it's that bad!!

I've was diagnosed with diverticulitis last Feb. I keep having flare-ups - 7 to be exact.?

Pain is always the same. Lower left side of abdomen. Had CT scan to get diagnosis. Dr. wants colonoscopy done but won't during flare-ups or for 8 weeks after (can puncture colon). I'm scheduled for another ct scan on Mon. Drinking barium stuff so they can get a better look. My main ? is I seem to have a different body odor now. All my stool smells the same no matter what I eat. It's almost as though I can smell that same smell on my skin. My family doesn't notice it at all, but I do. Where is my canister purge valve?

The code was p0441: emission control system incorrect purge flow. The guy ordered me a new canister purge valve, but I can not find where the little ****** is in my car. I bought a haynes repair manual for my model vehicle and it said that for some model cars the valve is in the canister itself, but it just doesn't seem like it could fit. I know that the canister is in the rear of the car, behind the left tire, but I don't know where this valve is, any help would be appreciated. *this isn't the same as the purge solenoid mounted near the intake manifold*

Walmart WIC cheese New York?

Recently my mother got custody of my 4 yr old neice and year old nephew. She recieves WIC checks. We've been able to use them at Shop Rites and other grocery stores without no other problems than just being unfamiliar with the items. At the other grocery stores she gets 16oz of deli cheese. Today at the Walmart deli they told her that Walmart does not have any cheese available for WIC, this does not make sense because she has always got the land o lakes american cheese. How to get my dog to stop scratching to get out of room when left alone?

Here is my situation. My wife and I have an italian greyhound (female 3.5yrs/old) & a chihuahua (female 7.5yrs/old). Both dogs are trained to go on litter pads. We live in a 1 floor house. We keep the litter pads & food in our laundry room. Here is the problem. When either my wife or I is at home the italian greyhound behaves wonderfully. Never has any accidents, always uses her pads without us having to tell her. Basically is a perfect animal for us when we are at home. However, here's the problem. When my wife and I go out the iggy seems to forget all the rules and just goes to the washroom anywhere in the house. My wife and I got so tired of cleaning up messes every day after work so we thought maybe it would be easier if just kept the dogs confined to the laundry room during the day. Atleast this way the dogs were close to their pads so there was no excuse for them to be lazy and not use them. So keeping them in the laundry room solved our pee/poo problem, but now we have another problem on our hands. The iggy is now scratching at the door every day trying to get out of the room and it is ruining our door/floor. How can I get her to stop misbehaving when left alone? Just to let you know, the laundry room is a fair size, about 10'x10' with a window, so it's not like the dogs are crammed into a dark room. We are not sure what to do. We can either leave the house open for them and not have to deal with the scratching problems, and clean up pee after work, or confine them to the laundry room during the day and have the iggy scratch the floor/door up. It's a catch 22. Also, i know the chihuahua is not causing any of the problems because she is very laid back/obedient so i have no doubts who is getting into all the trouble. FYI, the iggy gets plenty of exercise, I take her jogging every day for about 5-8km, plus she plays around in the back yard for several hours a day after work. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Why am I so scared to loose weight...?

I saw the scale hit 300lbs and cried, but the weird thing is that now 30lbs lighter and people are noticing. Mostly men who I work with and that is fine and dandy but I don't gain any self confidence and I feel worse without the weight. I have never been skinny and I guess letting go of an identity that I have always had is harder then I think. I love me and I am not doing this for anyone but me, I am getting married and do not want to be a white blob I wanted that womanly figure and look as my fiance makes me feel. I do not know. Anyway, he said this happened around the same time she had gone into his room. Another example is when another guy's two brand new bottles of Jack Daniel's went missing, and this girl said that one of his friends had come and taken them. She had no description of this "friend", and when he called around to his friends about it, he found out that no one had come to the house. The latest thing they think she's done is hiked up their cable bill by renting a Pay-Per-View movie. She blamed it on the guys, but according to the day and time the movie was rented, the girl was the only one who had been in the house! The guys are furious and plan on investigating with Charter to nail this girl. My main question is what can the guys legally do to get this girl to give their stuff back or repay them (and especially get my bro's ring back!)? What can be done legally in this case--could they prosecute her even though the evidence is mostly cirstantial?

Just when you think you know your body, it laughs at you and changes. Just to ease your mind, I'd talk to your mom about it and schedule an OBGYN appointment so that the dr. can do a more indepth look to make sure there is nothing serious. 02 protege5 abs problem?

i have a 2002 mazda protege5. my abs light as well as my brake light is on (on the dash) i have taken it to a couple different places to get it looked at and they just act like it isn'tot a big deal. i have a few problems with my brakes right now.. the front left wheel starts clicking when going down the road. and sometimes my back right tire starts squeakingng when i drive it for awhile, but not all the time. does anyone know whats going on. i have replaced both rear calipers just a few months back.

My dog was recently diagnosed with Cushings desease. We medicated him with Lysodren, which is like chemotherapy for dogs and deteriorated his adrenal gland. The opposite effect of Cushing's is Addison's. If the dog gets too much Lysodren he can get Addison's. All the signs were pointing to this... He went from drinking and eating too much to not eating and getting dehydrated, confused and wobbly. He just tested negative for Addison's. This means he could possibly have a brain tumor, heart disease or cancer. All of these tests are expensive, treatment is expensive and he probably won't live long. She suggests I put him down because as soon as he is off his IV for about 35 hours he gets dehydrated and sick. Any thoughts???

I don't understand why people do this. Just ended a 3 year relationship which was mentally and emotionally abusive for me. My lab was the biggest one in the litter being 12lbs at 6 weeks old :) Since he has grown like a weed. At my last vet visit (last 3 wk shot interval), he grew from 41 lbs to 60 lbs within a months time. I feed him purina puppy chow for large breeds. I have been told he will be very big when he grows up. He is lean and muscular, and not a huge eater like I have been told labs are lol He goes on hikes and gets at least 3 walks a day, maybe the muscle is adding more weight?
