I have chunks of tooth still in my gum in the front bottom how long will it take for them to come out?

I have been going to my dentist the past 3 weeks to have all my teeth extracted...i just had my teeth in the front bottom extracted and there is still big chunks in the gum...I am getting dentures put in...how long will it take for them to come out ? or do i need to go and get them remove by my dentist ? will it hurt to wear my dentures if the chunks are still in there ? Will they be able to come out on their own if i have my dentures in ?
