Hair tips! help!?

i want to know how to prevent split ends! does baby oil really help prevent split ends? and i need tips on how to make my hair soft and shiny! and healthy too! i would really appreciate all of these questions answered! and even a mask would be great (for your hair). i use Sunsilk shampoo and conditioner. i have brown straight hair that gets frizzy if i dont blow dry and hot iron it. most of the time. i use anti-frizz cream, 24/7 creme (sunsilk), mousse, sraight or curly cream, and sometimes root-booster. after im done i lock it in with a reg. hairspray. but not to much. please tell me what i need to do without buying a new shampoo and conditioner! thank you! o and i tried rinsing my shampoo and conditioner pout with cold water and it dint work, it just made it duller. so any tips are welcome!
