you could do like a portrait but since you dont want it to big you could do the music note with thier birthdays but make it look a little tribal that would be cool if its your first and have a low pain tolerance you should do it on your shoulder or somewhere where thier isnt bone. the rule is if its near bone or thin skin its gonna hurt more
