If US Capitalism is the answer why and how did we get this country to near bankruptcy?

Socialism is only equality for the elite it is servitude for all! Capitalism can and did work before politicians got their dirty little hands on it....Go back to our founding fathers, find the period of time that the system started to go haywire and take action to correct it.... I think you will find, that when we started to regard human beings as a cheep stepping stone to riches..and stop'd believing in ourselves we were destined to die and we did....
