Survey: Do you think science could ever hope to "explain consciousness" ?

Well, after reading your question I did some research and it doesn't look like science or philosophy, or psychologist have been able to come up with an explanation that anyone can agree with, so I guess we will just have to accept it on faith that it exists. I believe I am conscious, therefore I am. (with apologies to Descarte)
