I'm trying to download a ringtone. What do I do if my cell model isn't listed?

I want to download a ringtone from Verizon's site. I have a Samsung SCH-u340 phone...the u340 isn't listed on Verizon, but many other Samsung SCH phones are...such as Samsung SCH u410. Will it work to choose one of those slightly newer models? And if not, does anyone know of other ringtone sites that might have more selections for phone models? Thanks!!
